About : Do you work in the food industry?

The Autumn Edition of NPD Skills Training includes two separate, but complementary courses, each with its own application and selection process. Together, they focus on different, essential aspects of developing new food products.

This year’s offer includes:

  • Technology Management for New Product Development
  • Regenerative Models in Agrifood Systems

We invite you to take part in the recruitment process for one or both courses. Check the course details, session dates, and learning outcomes and don’t miss the chance to be part of this year’s edition.

Technology Management for New Product Development is designed to help participants navigate food product development through a technology-first lens. The course includes three mandatory workshops, each delivered by a different NPD Skills Training partner, offering diverse perspectives that build essential competencies for modern NPD teams:

  1. An introduction to stage-gate-based development: led by PepsiCo, this workshop focuses on planning, risk analysis, and adapting product briefs to changing business contexts.
  2. PEF Technology in Food Innovation: hosted by German company Elea, this module explores how pulsed electric field (PEF) technology can be used to improve food quality, sustainability, and process efficiency.
  3. Strategic Technology Management in NPD: from Insight to Implementation – this session focuses on leveraging AI, data platforms, and low-code tools to create agile, scalable product development systems.

The Regenerative Models in Agrifood Systems, delivered by Italian Future Food Institute, this course offers an engaging, hands-on learning experience focused on regenerative transformation in the food sector. Through two live online sessions, participants explore foundational theory, apply regenerative design principles, and engage in collaborative case-based activities.
