The process is guided by EIT Food’s Learning and Assessment Services Advisory Board and Expert Advisory Committees.

How do you apply?
- Apply via the EIT Food Accreditation Portal. Register your organisation and complete the online form to tell us all about your training goals, target audience, content, delivery method, and assessment approach.
- Independent review: Your application will be evaluated by two independent experts.
- Receive feedback: You’ll receive an outcome within six weeks, along with constructive feedback and recommendations.
- Celebrate success: If approved, your course is formally accredited, awarded the EIT Label, and included in the EIT Food Course Catalogue.
- Continual improvement: If you are unsuccessful with your first application, you will receive comprehensive feedback from the reviewers, and our team will support you with any future application.

What does it cost?
Accrediting your course through EIT Food involves a standard fee, which contributes to the expert-led evaluation, quality assurance processes, and administrative support involved in maintaining high educational standards.
If your training is delivered as part of an EIT Food-funded activity or if your organisation is an official EIT Food partner, alternative fee structures or reduced rates may apply depending on the nature of your involvement and funding agreement.
