FarmFood4All is a practical training programme for young Nigerians, focused on developing sustainable green businesses. Participants will learn to transform food waste into organic fertiliser, support regenerative agriculture, and build circular economy agribusinesses. Accredited by EIT Food, the programme supports healthier lives, net-zero food systems, and resilient food value chains.

What you'll learn : You will learn the following competencies

Food systems

  • Develop strategies to address current and future challenges using systems approaches.

  • Develop strategies for data acquisition, analysis and manipulation.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of robust data security measures.

  • Create opportunities for systemic social and environmental value creation.
  • Devise strategies to mobilise and leverage resources to create sustainable value.

  • Critically appraise the problem space to analyse the strategic implications of future choices.
  • Mobilise effective co-creation methodologies to generate original and sustainable solutions that include relevant voices.

Structure & Modules

A 3-month blended learning programme designed to equip young Nigerians with the skills to develop sustainable, circular agri-food businesses.

Learning hours:10 to 15 contact hours, plus 10 to 15 self-directed hours per module.

  • Module 1: Introduction to Circular Economy & Food Waste Management

Objectives:
Understand food system inefficiencies
Apply circular economy models to reduce waste

  • Module 2: Organic Fertiliser Production Techniques

Objectives:
Learn composting, digestion, and fermentation techniques

  • Module 3: AI & Digital Tools for Waste Management and Fertiliser Production

Objectives:
Apply AI and data analytics to optimise supply chains and production

  • Module 4: Green Business Development & Market Strategies

Objectives:
Build and scale sustainable agri-enterprises

Manage finances effectively for green enterprises

    Development and presentation of a Green Business Development Plan, applying learning across all modules.
