The co-founders of CinSoil, a startup developing an AI tool that supports AgriFood businesses insetting carbon emissions at the farm level, met thanks to an EIT Food programme and are now active members of the alumni community:
"In 2021, CinSOIL co-founders entered the Innovator Fellowship programme by EIT Food individually and by attending various events and sessions, they started to see complementarity with each other’s individual skills and overlapping interests.
With Antonella Succurro, PhD focusing on microbiological analysis and applied data science, Dr. Tavseef Mairaj Shah researching on agroecology and regenerative agriculture, and Dr. Giorgi Shuradze having experience in the business development and operations of agrifood startups, these backgrounds and passions made it easy to click.
The programme helped with structure, enabled an environment to spend time together, gave the possibility of testing initial ideas, and provided inspirational coaching and mentoring. At the end, our co-founders finished as the winners of the programme's FOODATHON, and as partners of a new innovative and sustainable solution for agrifood companies, ultimately leading to the founding of CinSOIL"

After being an alumnus for 3 years, Dr. Giorgi Shuradze and his colleagues are now excited to continue the growth of CinSOIL by joining another programme at EIT Food – the Food Accellerator Network.
"We can't wait to join the EIT Food Accelerator Network programme and with it the world’s largest and most dynamic food innovation community to further validate our technology, accelerate and advance our investment and commercial readiness journey. We look forward to meeting the other startups, EIT Food's amazing network of industry experts, corporate, research and investment partners."

YPP stands as a pivotal force in the agrifood sector, an EIT Food initiative with youth-led organisations in the AgriFood Sector to offer fresh perspectives and take bold actions towards a fair, healthy, and resilient food system.
Founding members are YPARD, IAAS, FAO, APPatEIT, and EIT Food Alumni.
Through this platform, EIT Food supports five youth-led organisations across different career stages, helping them thrive and, in return, enrich the broader food community.
The YPP aims to be a collaborative and dynamic platform that supports and inspires young people to innovate and act.
It seeks to address the challenges faced by young professionals in transforming global food systems.
