ABOUT

This course is designed to introduce professionals in the agri-food industry to the urgent need for food system transformation. The first module is available online at no cost, the following modules are co-created with organisations and delivered through a mix of video lessons and online synchronous workshops, adapted to the targeted audience and with custom duration and scheduling. 

With the free online module, participants will explore global food system challenges and apply systems analysis techniques.  

The following modules are aimed at fostering and applying the entrepreneurial mindset to create opportunities for social and environmental value creation, moving from food systems challenges to solutions with a testing and experimentation methodology, while creating open innovation groups. At the end of the path, the teams will have concrete and validated ideas to further develop.

STRUCTURE AND MODULES

Module 1: Food systems challenges 

An introduction to food system challenges and systemic approaches. 

Module 2: Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking 

This module focuses on identifying and analyzing key global sustainability issues to tackle within the teams, while creating open innovation groups. 

Module 3: Ideation 

This module emphasizes on the development of an entrepreneurial mindset to create innovative solutions, business models, and value propositions for the agri-food sector. 

Module 4: Food systems interdependencies 

This module explores systemic approaches and the interdependencies, understanding the policy perspective on food systems transformation. 

Module 5: Experimentation 

This last module focuses on designing, testing, and validating prototypes to create innovative solutions in the food systems.
