What is the EIT Label?

Now, let's delve into what the EIT Label represents.

The EIT Label serves as formal recognition of excellence for a course or programme , signifying that it meets the highest standards of quality in teaching, learning and the participant experience.

Introduced by the EIT, the certificate of quality that is awarded  exclusively to outstanding educational programmes.

It aligns with the EIT's overarching learning outcomes, emphasizing knowledge triangle integration; innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) education; highly integrated innovative ‘learning-by-doing’ curricula; international engagement and experience, inter-sectoral and inter-organisational collaboration, geographic inclusion, diversity, gender equality, ethics and digitalisation.

Why the accreditation process?

So, why embark on the accreditation process?

EIT Food Learning Services offers a unique pan-European assessment process for professional training programmes and learner certification, presenting the EIT Food Quality Mark of Excellence. This mark highlights a portfolio of professional development courses that have undergone rigorous quality assessment.

Our programmes are grounded in our proprietary Competency Framework, providing clear vocational and professional pathways for learning. Employers can utilize this framework to identify skills gaps in their workforce and select high-quality learning materials to aid career development. This Framework will enable learners to articulate the skills and knowledge required to develop their careers as innovators and entrepreneurs in the agrifood sector.

The Learning Services, created with academic and industry partners, using internationally recognised guidelines, sets a new Professional Standard for Professional Education!

What is in it for Learners?

The participants in  EIT Labelled programmes can rest assured that these courses have a certain level of quality.

It proves the content of the course evolved to meet the needs of the participants and incorporates feedback and recommendations from previous learners.

Our EIT Label guarantees hands-on experience across Europe, preparing learners for their chosen sector and connecting them with like-minded individuals who can bring their ideas to life.

Why choosing for an EIT Labelled programme from a Training Provider?

Choosing an EIT Labelled programme from an accredited Training Provider is a wise decision.

These Training providers have undergone the full accreditation process, this is not a triviality.

These providers are demonstrating excellence in course design, ensuring that learners master the promised competencies upon programme completion, and prioritizing the learner experience.

Barbara Mason
“In following a course which carries the EIT Label, our learners can be absolutely certain that the programme will be well designed and structured, providing a positive experience and most importantly, enabling them to advance their competencies in a way which allows them to demonstrate the impact of their investment to their organisation or future employer.”
